Fantastic little nursery

“I found this nursery while at a master gardener conference about 11 years ago. Extraordinary place with lots of little known herbs and native plants, which I love. Best of all, the staff is patient and very knowledgeable. I've been known to drive from Tampa just to shop there. When we moved to Homosassa this is where I went to buy certain prized plants that they very graciously ordered for me.”

Garden shop with a local feel

“For those that want to eschew the corporate garden centers, this is a wonderful small local nursery to explore. While there is not a large amount of each plant, the variety of the selection is excellent. I have bought many herbs here. There is also a great selection of African violets and succulents. The gift shop is fun to browse through and holds a number of accessories for the garden.”

Good find for neat plants

This is a little gem of a nursery tucked away off 43rd street. They are not the biggest in Gainesville but they do offer a large selection of plants. The staff is very helpful and will take time to help you plan your garden and which plants will be best suited to you. They offer delivery (and set up), which is helpful, as they also will put the plants where you would like them instead of you lugging them all over your yard.
