Shade Trees
The plants on these lists are not always available.
Shade trees are trees that will provide shade once they've grown a bit. These are the trees you'll want to plant to keep the sun off your roof in the summer, or shade the back yard swing set, or just something to read under. Generally shade trees are deciduous, meaning they lose their leaves in the winter, but some of them produce beautiful multi-colored fall foliage.
