Since 1967, Garden Gate Nursery has been Gainesville’s Hometown Garden Center, conveniently located in the Millhopper Shoping Center. As North Central Florida’s premier independent garden center we value providing the largest variety of plants and expert advise to our patrons. Nearly 90% of our plant stock is sourced from local suppliers to bring our guests the freshest and most ideal choices for our region. In addition, we pride ourselves on proving expert advice on plant care, garden design suggestions, and pest management. All of our associates are passionate gardeners and plant technicians themselves.

Bring in a picture of your yard and we can help make your landscape idea a beautiful reality. Plant disease and insect problems are our specialty too; just ziplock a clipping or snap a photo of that problem plant and we can lend a hand.
